Karlette is a "tape-loop" echo emulation as a VST plug-in. Each of the four replay "tape heads" has separate pan and high-frequency roll-off controls. Karlette can be used as both a Send or as an Insert Effect. But this is a plug-in supporting VST 2.0 so when you click the sync button, the individual time delays become tempo dependent so if the song changes tempo the echoes will be precisely locked to the beat.
