This VST synth is designed to make hard and nasty lead and bass sounds that will cut thru any mix, but can do a lot more besides. This synth is not for the faint hearted. You have been warned ! Karnage managed to not only get the nasty bass and dirty lead sounds I was after, but also produce some very cool vocal, rythmic and pulsating sounds too.

• 2 oscillators with sync, FM and tuning.
• 2 LFOs (the second can modulate the first).
• 1 envelope.
• 1 resonant filter.
• 1 Ring Modulator between the 2 VCOs.
• 4 x 9 Modulation Matrix.

Mab was inspired originally by the old Electro Harmonics guitar effects pedals, on which you could mix your signal with an oscillator and an envelope. The creator extended the idea by including Delay, Flanger and Distortion options, along with a filter, any of which can be ring modulated with an oscillator & envelope for some truly fascinating results. There's a huge variation of signal paths to try, but without the intimidating number of different controls some similar fx units employ.

Midi controller codes are supported - just hover your mouse over any given knob and the number it responds to will be displayed

This is a fully programmable resonant filter. In short, you can send any of your VST/WaveLab tracks through this 'virtual analog' device to either create special effects or to simulate the behaviour of an analog 4-pole filter. It has the following specifications : 24dB/Octave (4 pole) Low Pass and Band Pass Filter, variable Cutoff + Resonance, Lowpass/Bandpass switchable, Envelope Follower with adjustable sensitivity, Envelope attack/release times, Adjustable distortion Adjustable digital delay after filter with time, mix and feedback parameters.
